Sales engineers are technical consultants to clients, N3N sales teams and/or N3N Business Partners. They understand the client’s business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. They provide technical sales support which may include: collaborate with N3N sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; deliver Proof of Concept; develop and deliver technical education; support critical situations; design solutions; and answer technical questions. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent troubleshooting skills, be an expert on CRM and/or contact center products, competition, and and/or other relevant technology, enjoy working with sales and customers, and be willing to travel on short notice.
What you need for this position:
o Strong sales engineering experience in the IoT and/or data analytics and visualization.
o Solid proven experience with IoT or analytics solutions.
o Experience with various protocols and data formats is a plus.
o Outstanding customer service from orientation, face-to-face, and telephone support to remote users.
o Bachelor’s degree in C.S. or a combination of education/certification and relevant experience.
What you’ll be doing:
o Assist and support the sales team through product sales, demo, and RFPs, account management, and technical escalations.
o Develop enhanced system configurations and implementations.
o Troubleshoot common software, and network connectivity problems in multi-platform, multi-protocol environments in deployment of our IoT and data visualization technology.
o Write technical correspondence to customers and internal staff, and communicate feature requests and bugs to product and marketing teams.
